Completed undergraduate studies at Nasson College, Springvale, Maine and Palmer Jr. College in Davenport, Iowa.

While at Palmer College, completed numerous post-graduate courses in spinal bio-mechanics through the Pettibon Research Foundation,and in affiliation with Palmer College.

Completed four years of post-graduate studies in chiropractic orthopedics from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. Has completed 23 years of post-graduate studies in spinal bio-mechanics, with 60 hours of class training and re-certification annually. He has completed course training in Impairment Rating, physiology therapeutics, whiplash and spinal trauma and Ayurvedic medicine.

After going into private practice in 1977, he continued, he continued to take post-graduate courses in spinal bio-mechanics through Bio-mechanics Pettibon Biomechanics Institute until bio-mechanics certification in spinal biomechanics engineering. For the past decade he has been the Bio-mechanics England representative for the Pettibon Biomechanics Institute and is bio-mechanics a Bio-mechanics/resident instructor of spinal biomechanics for the Pettibon Biomechanics Institute, representing the North Eastern United States.

Dr. Bacon has been on the board of directors of many State and National Chiropractic Organizations and was a past president of the New Hampshire Chiropractic Educational Council. He is an extension faculty member of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Sherman College of Chiropractic and most recently, Parker College of Chiropractic.

He has recently been appointed to the post graduate education committee of the New Hampshire Chiropractic Association. He is currently a member of the International Chiropractic Association as well as the New Hampshire Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Bacon has served on numerous occasions as an expert witness in the area of spinal bio-mechanics and whiplash and spinal trauma. He has testified on numerous cases representing both plaintiff and defendant and has extensive training and expertise in the area of para-spinal soft tissue injury and repair.
