Nutrition Response Testing

Nutrition Response Testing (NRT) is a study done on a person, using different reflexes on the surface of the body, that relate to the individuals state of health and the function of all the organs in the body. NRT is very precise and scientific.

The following is an overview of what NRT is and just how it can help you achieve a better state of health.

The Analysis

This is done by testing the bodies own neurological reflexes. These points on the surface of the body were derived from acupuncture points. Acupuncture points were determined by the paths of the nervous system, and how the points have an affect on the organs of the body. Each Nutrition Response Reflex represents a specific organ, tissue, or function. The reaction of the reflex indicates the effect that energy is having on the reflex.

The Procedure

NRT.jpg

The doctor will have you lie down, extending one

arm up toward the ceiling. He will be performing a sensitivity test - this is important to remember. He will push down on your arm, asking you to resist and meet his pressure. You will only be pushing against the doctor to meet the amount of force he is pushing with, which is minimal.

The doctor will then be placing his other hand on the reflex points. When the reflex is active, the nervous system responds by decreasing the energy to that area and resulting in weakening of your extended arm. This can be very obvious or very slight. We will do our best to demonstrate the difference to you during the test. The drop in your arm signifies an underlying stress on that organ or dysfunction, which could be affecting your health.

Nutritional Supplementation

For example, through testing we find that the Gallbladder reflex is active. NOW WHAT??? The next step is to test specific nutritional formulas of the highest quality against the weak area, to find exactly what your body needs to bring it back to strength. Whatever the body needs is added to your health improvement program. Once we have found the right combination of whole food nutritional supplements that will support the weak reflex, you have accomplished the first and most important step in correcting the bodies underlying imbalances. These imbalances are what caused the reflex to be active in the first place.

You have now opened the door for your own body to begin to regain the ability to correct itself.

Through NRT, we can do an analysis of how your body is functioning, and determine the exact nutrients that you need to supplement your current diet, helping to bring balance and better health. We will always only recommend the highest quality whole food supplements to you. Depending on your individual situation, we may also suggest some other lifestyle changes you can make to help speed along the restoration process and bring about the best possible results.

Testimonial

I came to Dr. Bacon 5 months ago with unbearable pain in my neck, back and left arm. Four treatments and the pain had subsided, five months later and I'm feeling like a new person. I came regularly to Doc Bacon and can truly say that with each adjustment I become younger and more agile. I am grateful. Thank you.
